Future Collaborative Research Projects Emerge at Final Welsh Crucible Lab in Swansea

Collaboration Wall at Lab ThreeThe Welsh Crucible Participants met for the final Lab in Swansea on the 7th and 8th July.   In this event participants explored ways of improving their creativity and enterprise skills.  The group heard from entrepreneur Dr Jo Macpherson, one of the founders of drug delivery company Q Chip Ltd; and Professor Chris Price of Aberystwyth University who, as well as being a former Head of School, has also started and sold his own software company and is a designer of iPhone apps.  Participants were also encouraged to develop the interdisciplinary research ideas that have emerged as a result of the first two Labs and spent some time drawing up plans for these future collaborative projects.
