Dr Sarah Daw obtained her PhD in English Literature from the University of Exeter in 2016 and she is now a Lecturer in English Literature at Cardiff University, specialising in Literature and the Environment. Her research focuses on post-war British and American literature and the environment, with a particular interest in the intersections of Cold War literature, science and ecological thought. Her first book was Writing Nature in Cold War American Literature (Edinburgh University Press, 2018). She is currently working on a second book on the popularisation of quantum physics and the history of ecopoetics from the mid-twentieth century to the present
