The 2012 Welsh Crucible participants met for the first time yesterday at our first lab in Cardiff. This two day event, which was co-hosted by Cardiff and Glamorgan Universities, saw each of the thirty deliver short presentations about their work, as well as begin to ask questions about who and what their research is for. This lab, with its focus on ‘Looking Outwards’ was facilitated by journalist and broadcaster Vivienne Parry, and included speakers and guests from the media, as well as policy-makers.
