Sarah Wydall is a Senior Research Fellow and co-investigator of ‘Choice’. Choice is a longitudinal study (2015-18), exploring elder abuse & justice using participatory action research (PAR) & ethnography to design and implement new model(s) of justice. In the last five years Sarah have made a significant contribution to the development of domestic violence research in Wales at a strategic level. She has been involved with colleagues in the creation of eight successful research awards relating to gendered harms, bringing in a total of over £1.3m. Sarah sits on the Board for Hafan Cymru and on the Board of the Consortium for Innovative Sexuality Studies hosted by Swansea University. Sarah is keen to talk with academics from film and theatre and/or computer software engineers to help produce a new tool for qualitative data analysis involving audio-visual data and textual data. Sarah is also interested in talking to academics interesting in establishing a network to promote the use of high quality qualitative research methodologies in social policy and practice.

Sarah is now a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Law and Criminology at Aberystwyth University.
