Marco is Senior Lecturer and teaches Employment Relations and Human Resource Management at Cardiff Business School. Marco has lived, studied and conducted research in Germany, Spain, Nicaragua, United Kingdom and the USA. His PhD from Cornell University won the 2009 Thomas A. Kochan & Stephen R. Sleigh Best Dissertation Award, which recognizes the best PhD thesis in employment relations in the USA. Recently he won an Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) Future Research Leaders grant for a research project that examines how businesses gain collaborative advantages by participating in employers’ organizations. Marco has been part of the Living Wage Group that successfully campaigned for the introduction of a living wage at Cardiff University.
Marco has been promoted to Professor in International Human Resource Management in Cardiff Business School at Cardiff University.
