Joanna Wright is a multidisciplinary artist who works with documentary film, photography, sound and archive collections. Her work has been shown internationally, including at the Institute for Contemporary Art, The British Film Institute, British Council, Channel 4, BBC, and the United Nations. She has worked as a visiting teacher at the European Film College in Denmark, and Alfred University, New York, where she was awarded the Randall Chair in Art and Design. Joanna is a graduate of the National Film and Television School and currently a fellow at MIT’s Open Documentary Lab. Her current research is focused on intersections of documentary storytelling and technology, and co-creative, collaborative work between the arts and sciences.
