Hayley is a Public Health Researcher with a PhD in Public Health Nutrition from Liverpool John Moores University and over 12 years’ experience leading both independent and collaborative research. Her work spans a wide range of public health topics including nutrition, housing, and adverse childhood experiences. After transitioning from academia to Public Health Wales, Hayley’s work now places a strong emphasis on multi agency collaboration. Her most recent research—an appraisal of temperature guidelines within the Tackling Fuel Poverty Plan (Wales)—examines how living in a cold home affects health and well-being. Hayley uses both quantitative and qualitative methods to generate actionable, policy‑relevant evidence. She is passionate about producing research that drives meaningful improvements in the health of people in Wales and beyond.
