David Towsey

David completed his BA degree in English & Creative Writing at Aberystwyth University, his MA at Bath Spa in the same subject, and then returned to Aberystwyth for his PhD. Having since published a trilogy of novels, he is now working as a Lecturer in Creative Writing at the University of South Wales.
His current research explores creative responses to emerging and non-traditional industries, and the interdisciplinary opportunities found at the intersection between scientific blue skies research and science fiction. David is particularly interested in the communication of ideas between creative and scientific industries, and how this exchange can inform government policy.
