Charlotte Grey is the Public Health Evaluation Lead within the Research and Evaluation Division at Public Health Wales. She works at the intersection of research, policy, and practice, leading efforts to strengthen the quality, relevance, and impact of evaluation in public health decision-making. Her work focuses on applying innovative methods and approaches to evaluate national policies, programmes, and system-wide initiatives. Charlotte has led and contributed to projects across a wide range of public health priorities, including diabetes prevention, obesity and healthy food environment policies, mental wellbeing, communications and behaviour change campaigns, resilience, adverse childhood experiences (ACEs), housing, and homelessness. With a background in biology and environmental technology, her interests centre on understanding how environmental and social determinants shape health and contribute to health inequalities. She is committed to collaborative, interdisciplinary approaches that generate robust evidence, inform policy, and support improvements in population health and wellbeing.
