Angharad obtained her BA (Hons) degree in Human Geography from Aberystwyth University in 2002, staying on to complete a PhD in 2006. Angharad was a senior lecturer in Human Geography at the University of South Wales until 2018. Angharad is now an Associate Tutor at the University College of Estate Management.
Angharad’s main research interests lie at the intersection of literary and cultural geography, mobile, interpretative and participatory methods. She is currently completing a monograph on the place, process and practice of literary creativity, alongside exploring the geographical histories of touring cultures within Wales. In the past, Angharad has worked with sociologists, biologists and poets, and is keen to explore further interdisciplinary working particularly in the areas of health, policy and sound art.
