Sandeep is a Senior Lecturer at Cardiff Metropolitan University, United Kingdom, where he combines teaching with active research in artificial intelligence. Prior to this, he worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Machine Learning Section at the University of Copenhagen, Denmark, and was a visiting researcher at University College Dublin in 2022. He holds a PhD in Computer Vision from IIT Dhanbad and an M.Tech. from MNNIT Allahabad. A Fellow of the UK Higher Education Academy and Senior Member of IEEE, Sandeep has strong experience in delivering complex technical education. His research explores machine learning, computer vision, and image/video processing, with publications in leading venues such as IJCAI, BMVC, and ISBI. He serves on journal editorial boards, reviews international research grants, and contributes to academic governance. Passionate about knowledge exchange, he has delivered over 140 invited talks at globally recognized institutions.
