Margiad obtained her BSc degree in psychology at Cardiff University and went on to complete a MRes and PhD at Bangor University. She is now working as a lecturer and postdoctoral researcher in the education department at Bangor University. Her most current research is in implementation science, the study of how, why and for whom interventions work in different populations and settings. Her focus is particularly with developing, adapting and evaluating parenting and school-based interventions to promote positive child behaviour, social and emotional skills, and academic achievement. Margiad is passionate about supporting families, schools, practitioners and services in ensuring all children and young people reach their full potential.
