Tom is an experienced health researcher with a breadth of knowledge and experience following various roles across academia, the NHS and civil service, including clinical research, provision of national statistics, health economics and informing national policy development. He was awarded his PhD from the University of Glamorgan in 2010.
His current role is research lead within the Bevan Commission, supporting the 24 international Bevan Commissioners in collating and producing their advice to the Minister for Health and Social Care. Tom is keen to explore new ways of working to fully harness the collective expertise across academic disciplines, to drive change and innovation in order to deliver sustainable health and health care in Wales.
