Yogesh K. Dwivedi is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Business and Economics at Swansea University. He was awarded his MSc and PhD in Information Systems by Brunel University, receiving a Highly Commended award for his doctoral work jointly by the European Foundation for Management and Development and Emerald Publishing Ltd. He is a qualified practitioner in Project Management Methodology PRINCE2. His primary research interests focus on the adoption and diffusion of information and communication technologies in organisations and society. He has authored a monograph on adoption and usage of broadband and has co-edited 12 books and handbooks on various IS themes. Dr Dwivedi has written more than 140 refereed papers in international conferences and leading peer reviewed journals. He is member of the editorial board/review board of a number of IS journals. He has also co-edited 14 special issues in leading IS journals.
Yogesh has been promoted to Professor and Personal Chair in the School of Management at Swansea University.
