Kevin obtained his BSc degree in business information technology education at Utah State University and Master of Education in curriculum and teacher leadership at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. Shortly after completing a PhD in Education Administration at Miami University, he served as the Fellow in Curriculum at the University of the South Pacific in ‘Atele, Tonga. Currently, he is working as a Research Associate at the Wales Institute of Social & Economic Research Data & Methods (WISERD) at Cardiff University where he leads a team of researchers in a longitudinal study of nearly 1500 pupils in 30 schools across Wales. His research interests primarily focus on the intersection of curriculum, culture and identity and include critical approaches to education and schooling.
Kevin has been promoted to Senior Lecturer in the School of Social Sciences at Cardiff University.
