Kate is a Lecturer in Public Health at Cardiff Metropolitan University. In this role, she co-leads the Public Health and Wellbeing Research and Innovation Group held within the Centre for Health Activity and Wellbeing Research (CAWR) and is co-institutional lead for a collaboration held with EuroHealthNet (a European public health network) in the School of Sport and Health Sciences at Cardiff Metropolitan University. Kate’s expertise lies within Public Health, wellbeing, Positive Psychology and Behavioural Science, having previously achieved a PhD in Psychology and an MSc in Consumer Psychology with Business from Bangor University. She currently conducts mixed methods research collaborating on numerous research projects which focus to improve health and wellbeing with numerous public and third sector stakeholders. Kate is excited to meet other researchers working within and outside her discipline to build new multidisciplinary collaborations and challenge her current working practices.
