Dr Rajan is a Senior Lecturer at Cardiff School of Technologies – Cardiff Metropolitan University, Cardiff. Prior to this he was a Senior Lecturer at the University of Wollongong, Australia, a Senior Researcher at University of New South Wales Sydney, Australia and a Project Manager/Research Associate at the Technological University Dublin, Ireland. He obtained a PhD degree in Engineering from Technological University Dublin, Ireland. His research and teaching expertise and interests include optical fibre sensors and their engineering applications in biomedical and structural health monitoring fields. He also promotes work integrated learning and entrepreneurship in undergraduate/postgraduate teaching.
