Teresa completed her BSc in Dietetics at the School of Dietetics in Rome. She then went on to complete an MSc in Nutrition at King’s College London and an MSc in Public Health at the University of the West of England, Bristol. She later completed her PhD at the University of South Wales (USW), focusing on nutritional intake and clinical outcomes in Bolivian highlanders. She is a Senior Lecturer in Human Nutrition at USW, a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, and a Registered Public Health Practitioner. Her research interests focus on nutrition, public health, and the well-being of diverse populations, particularly vulnerable or underserved groups, as well as broader issues in global health. She is especially interested in improving public health outcomes through research and targeted interventions.
