Hannah gained both her BA (in Geography) and her MA (in Urban Regeneration and Development) at the University of Manchester, before studying for a PhD in Urban Studies at the University of Sheffield. Following a move to Cardiff and a role in Cardiff University’s Widening Participation team, she returned to research, working in Cardiff University’s Children’s Social Care Research and Development Centre (CASCADE). At CASCADE, Hannah has researched children’s experiences of secure accommodation, and is now working on a postdoctoral fellowship researching the higher education support systems for care experienced young people. Hannah is particularly interested in using creative methods, and the importance of including children and young people in research through co-production.
