Catherine obtained her BSc (Hons) in Psychology from the Open University and went on to complete an MSc in Cognitive Neuroscience and Research Methods at University of Durham followed by a PhD at Royal Holloway, University of London. She is now working as a Reader in the School of Healthcare Sciences at Cardiff University. Her most current research, in collaboration with School of Psychology, examined differences in the action observation network of 8 -12 year old children with and without Developmental Coordination Disorder. Catherine is extremely keen to work with complementary areas to exchange ideas and methodologies, in order to creatively address the current social injustices experienced by children and adults with Additional Learning Needs in Wales and beyond.
