Chris Millington

Chris studied for a BA degree in History and French at the University of Liverpool before completing a PhD in History at Cardiff University. He has worked as a lecturer at Birkbeck, University of London, and held a British Academy Postdoctoral Fellowship at Cardiff University. He has written a monograph on French veterans of the Great War, and co-authored a second monograph on French fascism. He is currently completing a project on political violence. Chris is keen to explore further the role of violence and terrorism in democratic societies, and communicate his academic research to a public audience.
Chris is now a Senior Lecturer in the Department of History, Politics and Philosophy at Manchester Metropolitan University.
