Britt obtained her BSc degree in Applied Psychology at Cardiff University and went on to complete a Masters in Social Science Research Methods (specialising in Criminology) and a PhD in the School of Dentistry; both also in Cardiff University. Following her degrees she worked as a postdoctoral researcher in the Centre for the Development and Evaluation of Complex Interventions for Public Health Improvement (DECIPHer), at Cardiff University. She is now employed as a Lecturer in Health and Wellbeing Psychology at Cardiff Metropolitan University. Her current research is examining changes in youth health behaviours and wellbeing of the UK population during the early phases of the COVID-19 pandemic and health improvement intervention opportunities for local community rugby clubs. Britt is extremely keen to highlight the importance organisational settings within communities and explore how they can work together to improve the health and wellbeing of its members.
