My interests over the course of my academic life have been interdisciplinary in nature, and I bring into conversation evidence-based education and scholarship with health disciplines in a commitment to concrete change and improve healthcare. I am currently the Head of Teaching and Learning Enhancement Centre and Director of PhD/MSc programs in Medical Education at Swansea University. My research focuses on evidence-based strategies in clinical education to enhance mentoring and supervision, patient safety, healthcare workforce development, and health equity.
I have benefited enormously, in my trajectory as an educator, scholar and researcher from collaborating with colleagues in many different cultural contexts and disciplines, continuously learning from and with them how they shape research and educational policies and practices.
