Emily graduated in Economics at the University of Liverpool and went on to complete the MSc in Health Economics and Health Policy at the University of Birmingham. She started her academic career at the University of Manchester, before moving to Bangor University and undertaking her doctoral research as a staff candidate. Emily is currently a Senior Research Fellow in the Centre for Health Economics and Medicines Evaluation (CHEME), researching peoples’ preferences for healthcare. Following her PhD in medication adherence, she was awarded a Research Fellowship by Health and Care Research Wales to investigate how peoples’ views and behaviours impact the use of antibiotics. Emily is committed to generating new evidence on how peoples’ behaviour and choices influences the value of public services and is keen to explore opportunities for interdisciplinary research.
