Tomás Irish is Senior Lecturer in Modern History at Swansea University. He completed his BA and PhD degrees at Trinity College Dublin.
He is a historian of the First World War and inter-war Europe and, in particular, academic life and the uses of knowledge in that period. He has published two monographs on that topic, The University at War 1914-1925 (2015) and Trinity in War and Revolution 1912-1923 (2015).
