Patricia received her B.Sc. in Artificial Intelligence (2005) and Ph.D. in Computer Science (2010) from the University of Durham, where she was also a Teaching Fellow (2008-2010), in Artificial Intelligence at both undergraduate and post-graduate levels. She then moved to Aberystwyth University to take a position as a post-doctoral researcher for 3 years on a European project IM-CLeVeR, working with psychologist, neuroscientists and primatologists to understand infant development, which she implemented on a robotic platform. She is now a Lecturer in the Intelligent Robotics Group at Aberystwyth University where her research interests include biologically and psychologically inspired architectures for developmental learning in robotic systems.
