Charlie obtained his MSc in Chemistry at University of Nottingham before moving to University of Glasgow for A PhD in nanomaterials. He spent 3 year working as a post doc at UCL before being awarded the Ramsay Fellowship for a further 3 years at UCL, prior to his move to Swansea University where he is now a Senior Lecturer in the new Energy Safety Research Institute. Charlie’s research interests lie in the use of hydrogen as an energy vector for the balancing of supply and demand of renewable energy and he runs a small company looking at energy storage and balance on a domestic scale. Charlie is extremely keen to meet new people and explore other perspectives of the future energy landscape and the policy that this encompasses.
