Kerry qualified as a solicitor in 2001, specialising in environmental law at international law firms in London, before returning to west Wales in 2004. She continued to work in private practice, as well as developing her knowledge of the marine environment through part-time study and underwater marine conservation programmes.
Since joining Aberystwyth University in 2008, she has taught across a range of legal topics, and recently moved into a research-active role, having completed an LLM on the creation of Natural Resources Wales. Kerry’s diverse experience of private professional practice, employment in the third sector and volunteering are now invaluable in her role as an academic, in which she is keen to engage with all sectors of society and individuals from different backgrounds.
Kerry has relocated to the Cayman Islands and is a Lecturer in the Truman Bodden Law School.
